Sorry to hear about your Roo problem. Don't feel bad, it could happen to any of us (except Beth G, maybe

). There are actually quite a few hens listed for sale on the New Haven CraigsList. If you aren't picky about breeds, you should be able to get some birds fairly easily. Good luck!

My BYC page hasnt been updated in 10 months, lol! Yes... I have two bantys.. a partridge Wyandotte named Betty and a La Fleche named Edith. Are you getting ready for the 4H fair in August? One of the big girls I had registered to bring to the fair died a couple of weeks ago (poor Tilly). I'm debating with myself as to if it is worth the aggravation of trying to reach Margaret Grillo in the New Haven office to see if we can switch leg tag numbers.

Hey, I finally got the antibiotics for the chicks (potentially have CRD) but I'm at a loss on how to figure out proportions for mixing. The directions say 2 grams for 1 gallon of water. I don't have anything that will accurately weigh that small of a portion -anyone have any idea if I can convert grams (weight based) to teaspoons (volume based) or something like that? Help!
