Connecticut!

Luke13:34 :

It was a good day to go strawberry picking at Jones Family Farm. My daughters had a blast and the chickens are getting a yummy treat of strawberry tops as we are making jam and pie!

My crew will not touch strawberries. Grapes are another story. Interested to see if they get into my blackberry bushes in the next couple of weeks.

The blackberry bushes is the first place mine go when I let them out. One day I was looking out the window and and I saw The chickens around one of the bushes and it was shaking like crazy> I thought wow those chickens are going to town on that bush. It was a deer!

I have been approached by a park in New Haven County looking to exchange a trio of Peafowl for a 4 Laying Hens, a few chicks, and some hatching eggs.

I personally do not like peafowl nor, have the room for them.

Does anyone on this CT Forum have interest in them?

Hi, I understand I kinda feel the same way you do

If you want to donate 2 hens and a few chicks let me know I will give you the guys name and phone number. He's the ranger fo the park. I am going to donate some hatching eggs for the campers to watch in some donated incubators they acquired.

If the park/camp has the initials C.G. In it's name, I would happily donate laying hens in exchange for getting my daughter off their wait list. No peafowl for me, though.

Beth, PM me the phone. I've been thinking of downsizing ...

No, not CG
