Sure, I pray it's a pullet

I really need 2 more nice black pullets. I am depressed b/c that batch from up north I did a real good look over and out of the 10 I got, only 4 wind up being pullets

At first I don't know about you but, I couldn't tell! It took this long for the saddle feathers and combs to start showing their Cockrel side

I still like them and will most likely Keep and Extra one incase something happens to my Brutus Boy!!! But, man those Orps are HUGE!

PamB I hear ya all had some serious Frost this morning? Channel 3 WFSB is showing some pic's of a guys car that had a whole lottt of frosty stuff

Too soon for winter

MUCH too soon for winter Beth... still have to fine tune how I'm going to add a little extra heat to the tractor/coop for the winter. Last night we used the 'black light'/night light from our old lizard tank and the coop was 52 degrees while the outside air was 40, so that may work

Will def need to get that heated water bowl from Tinman though!

Too soon for winter

Well, it was cold, but where I was there wasn't any frost. I do park in the garage though...so maybe I was just unaware. The forecast for the weekend..in the 80's on Sunday! Crazy weather!!​
