Connecticut!

What? It's not that far is it? Aren't you up near the MA border anyways? It's right over the line of CT/MA border near Sturbridge Village.

Time to tighten the belt and put your foot down girl!

This show is a great place to go meet new ppl and look at great show birds that show you the true standards of the breeds. Also you get to browse for new birds too!

I drive a Reddish Maroon Dodge Ram Truck and it should have a black cap on it. I will also be bringing my blue canopy pop up tent. Also, I ususally bring my farm sign. Gaetano Family Farm, LLC. Look for me and I'm sure you will find all the CT BYC'rs!! I know of at least 4 of us going and I'm sure I can introduce you to more BYC'rs too.

How have you been? Will you be joining us at the show on November 6, in North Oxford, MA?

Well, I only have you and one other order over the next couple weeks. Hopefully, I'll get some eggs. Yes, the showing is tough...that is why I like when Lex wants to show pullets because usually they haven't started laying yet so they haven't gone broody. I'm thinking of getting a couple broody jails set up though for the spring.

The 12th is pretty far off. With the cold setting in I'd like to get Bobby integrated back with the big girls. What about this Saturday?
Beth G. :

LOL I'm shocked I got him to do this. I've been hinting and now that we have the turkeys he's all in love with them and I think he likes being out there with them listening to Tom the turkey gobblin every 5 mins and his girls peeping back at him!!

The only bad thing about Nov 5th is I am leaving that afternoon to coop in my showbirds and staying over night up in Auburn MA for the show I was telling you about. I think Friday and Saturday I will be clipping, bathing, and blow drying 4-6 birds. Then I have to pack up the truck for my trip with sale birds too

Would it be to far away if we did the weekend after that the 12th? Let me know if that works for you and I'd love to come up and see all your babies and Bobby the broody!! I'm glad she was such a sweet momma to do this for me. My silkie girl I showed in June brooded out 3 araucana's and they are about 8 wks old now. They are stuck to her like glue. I think they think they are silkies!!!

They basically do not know how to roost or anything.

Ahh don't worry about me. I'll always be around so we can catch up next spring if need be. No pressure

the Boston Poulty Show starts at 9am but, if you are going to do shopping for chickens, ducks, turkeys, quail, BIRDS in general I would say get there by 8am to get the good ones!!! They tend to go quick
