This one is the leader of the Purple Gang.

This one fights with the Leader.

Another member of the purple gang.

I think this one might be the getaway driver.

Can anyone ID these critters? All I know is they are from the wrong side of the tracks.

So, i just got in. I bedded up the coops, scrub cleaned and refilled the waterers, topped off the feeders, and my husband and I tried putting some tarps up to help the runs from getting to wet. I guess the chickens will have to hunker down and stay locked in tomorrow.

Are you all ready?? even if it doesn't stick it's still going to leave a nasty slushy mess

Yea, I didn't do anything to get ready. I went out to dinner and had some wine (which made me quite happy). I won't lock mine in...if it gets bad I will go out and get them inside the coop, but we should be home most of the day to keep an eye on them. Now, of course, I don't have 100+ chickens though..haha...so it won't take long to gather their fuzzy butts up.

I'm worried about the weight of it all. A foot of powder is fine. A foot of deep heavy stuff will mean collapses somewhere....

The first one looks like an Easter Egger. not sure about the 2nd one, maybe a black sexlink? The third one looks like a barred rock and the 4th like a salmon faverolle or at least partially so.

A foot?!?! Ugh...I think I need more wine.
