I'm worried about the weight of it all. A foot of powder is fine. A foot of deep heavy stuff will mean collapses somewhere....

Well, like all forecasts, I saw a range of 5-12 inches.. I had enough snow for the winter with the dusting we got last night

Absolutely! Last winter so was bad...I would be fine not seeing snow for years.

I also heard that the winds could be worse than Irene. How many days were you out of electricity? We were out six...longest six days of my life.

I think we were out 4 days. no water, no power, and, gasp, thus no internet!

My husband hauled water home from work. I went to his place of employment to take a shower. But the worst part was the boredom!

The first one looks like an Easter Egger. not sure about the 2nd one, maybe a black sexlink? The third one looks like a barred rock and the 4th like a salmon faverolle or at least partially so.
I know the black one is the largest and the forth one has a gray beard.

It isn't easy to get good pics of them because they don't cooperate. Apearently they have their own ajenda and little regaurd for my concerns. ( HMMM isn't that just like a chicken) I'm telling you I get no respect, no respect at all..

We lost it Sunday morning until Saturday around dinner time. Almost a full week. We did end up buying a generator so we had water after a few days. I think not having water was the worst part for me. I just read every night after work...oh, and drank wine so I'd fall asleep quick without the need for a TV. Ok, so now I sound like I have a drinking problem. I promise it is all just a coincidence!
