Connecticut!

I did. I bought a silkie and sizzle. They are 10 weeks and hopefully hens. I couldn't wait until April for my order.

I came a bit too late, and the baby chicks I had wanted to get we're all sold out or reserved. :(
Anyways, the show was great! And I got a lot of pictures. Near te end, I found a little Belgian Bearded D'anver pullet runing loose around the aisle. Caught the bird and reported it to the office, hopefully they found the owner. :D

Hi everyone, I'm not in CT but I'm right next door in RI and I want to place an order for some chicks. I'd really like to get them in March, but in order for that to happen I need to order at least 15, and I only want 5. Does anyone want to go in on an order with me?

I would HIGHLY suggest buying from MyPetChicken.com because they have very small minimum orders and have a great variety of breeds. I have bought many of my birds there and they are very good quality, inexpensive birds.

That's who I'm looking at, but they won't ship fewer than 15 until April 1. I'm bad at being patient and I don't want to wait that long! :D

I know it's hard to wait that long but I would highly suggest waiting until spring! I have done winter and spring broods and the spring broods were far more successful! I occasionally lose ones during winter broods because of poor ventilation, which is hard to balance when trying to keep drafts off them which could kill them. Just my experience and opinion.

I have 5 chicks ordered from mypetchicken.con to come in May! so excited! also looking forward to some possible ducks since I have a lake in my backyard. :)

I really wish I went to poultry congress! hopefully next year

Super sweet and cute 5-6 month old buff orpington cockerel. I've had him since he was about 3 weeks old and always thought he was a she...He's even raised a batch of chicks! Unfortunately I have way too many boys and this poor cutie is being picked on.He'd be a great pet(especially for a kid, I have 3 that love him!) but I'm also not opposed to him being someones dinner. He does have crooked middle toes as you can see in the picture but this does not effect him in any way. I included a picture of him with his chicks because it's so darn cute! FREE!
