Im still strictly chickens too. Never eaten a quail but have had quail eggs. They look like semi precious stones.

They have a very rich taste to them,more of a yokier taste if that's a word.I was thinking about getting a couple ducks for the eggs but there so messy and I don't want to deal with that,I will stick with chickens.
