Thank you all for sharing in my excitement!!
We found another egg last night. It didn't have a shell though. The lining that kept it all intact was a lighter brown color, so I'm thinking it was one of the sex-link??
The girls are about 21 weeks now. I read that shell-less eggs should be expected for first time layers. When should I begin to be concerned?
Ps, i have 9 girls. 3 each of white leghorn, red sexlinked and speckled Sussex (i was so graciously informed by you guys
) i believe the first 2 eggs came from the same girl, as their texture and size was exactly the same.
I may have very well thrown off their laying due to moving them into a new coop on Wednesday.
