Connecticut!

I have some 5 week old roos (also a few hens) that I can not keep. They are Easter Egger and Isa Brown mix. Some have a rose comb and others have a single comb. These chicks were hatched in a family setting and handled daily. They are very friendly. I am located in central Connecticut.

My wife rescued 4 chicks a few weeks ago, and it turns out 3 are roos ( which we cant have). So we have 3 White Leghorn Roos, roughly 3-4 months old, available in Central Connecticut. Looking to rehome to a knowledgeable family.

I know at least one other chickenbuddy from Connectiut is here.

So I bought 6 chicks in the spring and one turned out to be a rooster. Is anyone interested in taking him off my hands? If not does anyone know what my options are ? And no I don’t want to eat him haha

I have 2 moss egger cockerels(8 weeks) ready to leave. Need to get rid of them, as I have too many roosters. They are sweet and beautiful big white birds. They have rose/pea combs, and feathered legs. In northwest ct.
**homes need to have hens in order for me to know they will thrive after handing over.

I feel your pain. I have 1 rooster I can't get anyone to take at all. Hes a great bird and very protective of the hens but I just don't want more chicks in January!!

Just make sure to take away the eggs daily and no chicks! If you cant eat all of them, I bet friends/family would enjoy fresh eggs!

Hi all, I'm in NE CT. My dad's flock was attacked by raccoons last night and he lost his rooster :( He was a very docile, handsome boy and things wont be the same without him. He's asked me to keep an eye out for anyone interested in rehoming a friendly roo, preferably a mature one
