does anyone in ct have some orps thay want to sell i am going to do only orps now and iam selling off all my other birds ranging from 10-16 weeks old if interested pm me or i can trade for orps we are good on buffs but want some white orps we would buy a few more black or blues an def any rare colorers you have pm me with any thing you may have we are good on roos i only keep one in each color.i may have a few black an blue roos that i may be rehoming in a month or so have some little chicks that i dont know the sex yet so pm me if you want one an as soon as i know i will set up a date for you to pick it up.thanks debbie

ya we are hopfully going there this week end just trying to get a few differant blood lines for breeding.but i will say tony does have the best looking orps i have seen around very pretty birds.

Could someone tell me about this coffee thing going on?? Just curious. If it is a remedy for coop and run odor...fill me in.

Jenn.. look on the last post, page 49 of this thread. You'll see the linkypoo re using coffee chaff as bedding in a coop.

Hey, Todd.. did it make the coop smell like coffee? Did you feel it was any better at odor control? Would love to get your full review of the stuff.

Thanks Luke! Any idea where I could get some to try? I called a local roaster but they donate it already to local farms. I might stop in there in person, the guy on the phone was a bit confused at first.

I was as well. I can't put all the blame on him...

It does take a little homework to find a roaster, but I think it's worth it. It's free, smells good, easy to maintain and it's better for your compost pile than wood shavings or straw (higher nutrients and no weed seeds). I think it's awesome.
