I'm psyched about a CT Chicken stock! As soon as we have a date and place we should start a new thread in that forum. I have no chickens to sell, but I can bring food, cookies or cupcakes or something. I wish we could have it here, but you really need a barn for if it rains. The one in PA had 2 barns, one for food and one for animals. It was awesome. Time Magazine came and did a piece on it.

Well, I still want to come see your chickens and set up some time. We can talk about logistics then. I'll PM you.

Even though I won't be attending I have an idea..... They did it at the Northeastern Poultry Congress.

To help pay for the costs, you could have a silent egg auction from donated fertile eggs by our members! Just have a sheet where someone writes their name and what they're bidding. When the day/event is over, the highest bidder wins.

Just an idea!

Hi Everyone!!

Kvmommy, we welcome your company and if you want to help set up, breakdown, or just hang out that would be fine. Maybe you and your youngsters could do facepainting or something for the kids. Really all I think, all of us want is an excuse to get together, share our birds locally, and have fun!!

New chick, I got it and would love to have a day to get together and visit a fellow byc'r!!

Chickenboy sam, keep the ideas coming, we are open to everything you all are willing to share. We will keep notes and review it to see what can be done
