I looks like it's going to be an intro to chicken keeping at the Ridgefield Library, June 12th with a talk by Tracy from MY Pet Chicken and then there will be 3 different coops in the area available to go see and talk with the owners. Mine will be one of them. I will represent the small flock of pet chickens, another will be a small farm with a good size coop and maybe one in between. I'll let people know more when the program is more developed. I might need some advice about bio-security from you all before then.

Betty's baby!

The banty Wyandotte I got from Beth G went broody right before I picked her up a week ago - so I brought her home to my house - eggs and all. She aparently stole an egg from another Silkie hen that was ahead in development.. the others aren't due to hatch for another week.

Yay! The kombucha is almost ready. It is taking a little longer than normal because it had been in the fridge for a while. We should plan to meet up next week.

Ohh awesome!! I wanna come too!! Can I come even though I'm not a resident? I think you should have them visit you first and the rest later

Or do that sanitize station you talked about where they scrub their feet before stepping out back.
