It says you are a chicken NUT! I see myself headed in the same direction! Today is the big move. I need to finish one perch, the board to keep the litter in place when I open the door and the nesting box (which I will block off until one week before they are supposed to start laying). Before I go to bed I check my eight buff buff oringtons to make sure all is well. I find myself hand feeding them a piece of bread (what a hoot!) then picking up a few to get them used to being handled. It is so much better than watching TV. Next thing I know 45 min to an hour has gone by. Yep, next thing I will be feeding them breakfast in bed!

Yeah chickens are addicting! But, I see it as b/c animals can't feed themselves and are soo not talking back to you, they deserve to get fed first!!!! lol (don't tell my 17 yro daughter I said this)
