Alrighty, what is up with this weather??? Its December, 50+ degrees out even at night, and now with a forcast of snow coming in I just got woken up by crash boom bang!! Thunder and lightning!!

I'm happy that our skylight isn't leaking though, and happy we re-tarped our run.

Looking forward to snow, but not the shoveling

I promised myself that I would NOT have any silkies growing out in the garage this winter, but GUESS WHAT?! My very good friend, BethG, brought to my attention a silkie egg auction last night for 24+ silkie eggs...and, well, I bought them.

I don't even have an incubator to hold that many eggs, so I am borrowing Beth's and she will get any white chicks I hatch in return. Looks like I have another winter of crowing in my garage (located under my bedroom). Thanks, Beth!!
