I just finished reading:
Free-Range Chicken Gardens: How to Create a Beautiful, Chicken-Friendly Yard

I highly recommend it. Very sensible sound approach to chickens and gardens. She is making me rethink my fear of poisonous plants, and get it more in proportion to the danger. Just a thought to anyone sitting inside on this rainy day thinking of Spring.

. I have since put her in a large run, however she is now lonely and seems a bit depressed. She eats well and is somewhat active but she will only come out of the coop if I am there. If I close the coop, she will just sit under it and stare at the door of my house, waiting for me to come out. I try to socialize with her everyday, letting her out of the run while I am there and being a bit hands on with her. I am getting a couple of new chicks tonight. Concerned about introducing them to her. I have also posted in raising chicks to get some answers about the chicks. Anyway, looking forward to discussing chickens with all of you.
