I would do it on the 12th but we have a show to go to, and then birds to pick up, would you be able to stop just for a minute so you can give me that coop warming present? LOL

The coop party is offically on the 20th of July, which is Sunday, it'll start at 10am(but you can come earlier or later if you want, just let us know) and go to whatever time you want to leave or get sick of us, which ever comes first

We might be processing chickens there, not sure yet, that would be up to PC, if wants to bring a roo or 2. Bring chairs, any tools. We will be grilling, so if you you can bring hamburgs, hot dogs, etc. There will be large, heavy tools around, so I would be cautious of little kids around, if you want to bring them you can, your choice. Chickens are welcome too

We will have Cornish Cross chicks from mine and PC's order(145 chicks altogether

) So if you want some for the processing party in september/october they'll be available. Can't wait to see you guys! PM me for directions/quesions!

I have lots of polish, as you can tell by my name, they're one of my favorite breeds, along with silkies and orpingtons.

I'm south of Eastford but have friends up there who live on Crystal Pond and Lake Bungee. We just had our church picnic on Crystal Pond last Saturday! I'm in the Windham area.
We've got 15 chickens including a few mutts. Our favorites are our Red Stars but we love them all. We also have Buff Orpingtons, a Black Australorp, 2 EEs, 2 Barnevelders, 2 Welsummers, a barred rock and a silkie roo.

Good Morning folfs! Henrietta23 i can not believe it! You were on Crystal pond last Sat. why as a boy i visited my uncle and cousins on a regular basis and we had yearly family cookouts on the lake . I think you might know my cousins or my uncle? My uncle has just finished building a house on the Woodstock side of the lake. PC i aiso have a Polish Top Hat rooster, he has a cream colored crown and the rest of him is black with some green on his tail feathers.I picked him up from a gentlemen in Shelton who had an ad in the bargain news.It was a package deal the Tophat and the Silkie for ten dollars.
