A very chilly morning to all! I have added all of you to my Buddy List too. Thank
you Bedste for your directions. We are heading to Montgomery today to attend
a wedding of a nephew. It's the Son of the SIL who lives in Cut and Shoot.

hello there to all. i am in devers between beaumont and liberty. this will be my first winter year here with my babies (chickens). does anyone know who would like to buy some roosters? i have americana's and some red cochins that i need to get rid of over run by males.

Hi cugo,

I have heard the Craigs List is fairly sucessful in moving roosters. Folks take them to use in their flock, or make them food for thought.

We have had some GIANT mosquitoes here this year. Biggest ones I think I have ever seen.

We haven't had any problems that I have seen in my coop from the 'skeetas.

I'm worried that my chickens will not be able to have the medical care that you perform! Injectioons ! (shudder) I would have to give myself a major " talking to", and still unsure if I could do it! I know my DH couldn't help in a pinch either. He has a complete phobia about needles!

On another note, is there anyone on here that is using DE, and if there is a local
supplier in the area? If not, who or where do you get it from?
