She is absolutely adorable!!!!!!!!!
Adorable!! Congratulations!!
Thank you Karen! I have no idea what this year will hold, but I have no doubt it will be a good year. Hope your new eggs do well for you!Hawkeye, Glad to hear you had a great birthday! Hope this is your best year ever.
I picked up my second round of Swedish Flower eggs today and I'm so excited! The one little Swedish I have is a rowdy little thing. Sometimes when I peek in at it, It jumps up and pecks the plexiglas in the hovabator. I have it in there until a few other chicks hatch and can keep it company. It's certainly not shy and I enjoy that silly bird a lot! I have 21 eggs and have set them today and just can't wait to see how they hatch this time. The first group were pullet eggs that just weren't fertile but these are larger and I'm sure the fertility is better. I'm so excited.
Personally, I would keep the new fridge. For a couple of reasons... One-- the newer models are more energy efficient. They use less energy and have better seals to maintain more efficiency. And two-- it's newer, so you are going to run into less troubles with it in the long run. And Three-- the older one has been in storage for 3 years?? Well, my parents did something exactly like that... they stored a brand new fridge for 3 or 4 years while they had to be gone, and when they came back, the fridge never did run well. Mice had gotten into it and the seals were not holding well... it's like it warped or something from the heat maybe?? I don't know. I say you have a known fridge right now that is working. Why chance bringing in an old fridge that might break in two weeks because a mouse chewed thru a cable or water line and you don't know about it until it has time to run for a bit and then die on you. No way would I chance that... not after our first hand experience. If you have a deep freeze, I'd just use that for your extra storage. There's my two cents.which would you keep. The house we bought has a double door fridge(maytag 2010) but the freezer is way too small. We have a larger double door fridge/freezer(whirlpool 2007) but its been in storage for the past 3 years was only used for a few year before storage and we have a deep freezer trying to figure out which we should keep. I could sell one and use the money on fixing up the house or christmas money.
DH says he likes the one we have in the house cause we don't have to move it and it has a lock on the water/ice despenser. But i like the older one sense it has a little more space in the freezer
