Good luck. There is some nice people in the LEC.

I use to work for the county in the IT department. The only reason we moved to Oskie was the county job.

Well, There sure seems to be alot of local folks that hang out on BYC.... I know alot of folks with Jeff. Co, most of the I.T. and L.E.C. folks too .... I'v worked for the city nearly 14 years now and have seen a lot of good people come and go. Hope it all works your way Daren....Bill

Good to see you here, what type of bird do you have?

Just quail for now, my bride wants to get some sort of large, nice, pretty, yardbirds that we can eat at some point....

I'm think'in heritage breed turkeys may fit all those specs but still study'in on it. She wants the grand kids to not be afraid of them. Right now I have a hand full of coturnix,(ate most of them) Georgia Giant bobs, butler bobs in the bater, due the 1st, giant cort eggs due monday, and another 48 butler eggs that should have got here just before the blizzard and were held up by weather. Gonna have to fire up the homemade coolerbater soon. It works great, just a lot more dink'in with it when the lows come thru. It wants to make the wafer thermo go high and spike a bit so I got to watch it. I saw your turkeys runnin with the goat, what breed of bird is that?

He was a Giant White non-heritage.

You probably already been to this site http://albc-usa.org/cpl/wtchlist.html#turkeys
I have heard the Midget White are friendly and taste real good. Narragansett are also friendly (not as friendly Midget White) and they have some color.

You could look at the sussex chicken, its a very big bird.
