Consolidated Kansas

Sorry to hear about your loss.
Talking about Kansas weather, Saturday started to enlarge my garden and what happens on Sunday it snows so much for working outside.

I'm so sorry to hear that, Tonya. You are never prepared to have something like that happen. I'll never forget the time I went out and after I had moved all my young son's bantam cochins I discovered the pen I put them in wasn't as safe as I had thought, and raccoons had gotten in and killed them all. He was so upset and I felt so bad. I was really mad at myself because I was the one who put them in that pen.

Tonya,

so sorry for your loss...you have hit upon one my worse fears! Please keep us updated on how the 4 survivors fare. I don't have Welsummers, but I would be happy to help your flock with whatever I have!

Sandy

Thank you all! I really appreciate it. My unchicken family just doesn't understand.

Bill Thanks. I did witness some courting last week so they seem to be getting ready for breeding. I spoke to the new owner of you Coturnix today, he seems to be super stoked about them laying non stop......ahahahahaha

So sorry to hear about your loss Tonya. It is an awful feeling! I lost a couple to my next door neighbor's dog late last year and it is just awful. I hope the injured hens pull through.
