I've been thinking of you, Katy, and wondering how your experience has been with the UK...I could send you my recipe and you could get the grains mixed at a feed mill in your area!

They seem to like the ultra kibble, but I know I've been trying to stretch it too far so I really haven't gotten a true reading on it. I'd love to get your recipe and get it priced out somewhere closer to home. Thanks!

Katy: Where do you get the Ultrakibble? I asked the TSC here in Wichita and they told me if I wanted it I had to order a pallet.

I ordered it thru the TSC in Hutch......I didn't have to order a pallet.

I've got local mills.....one is small enough too that I think they might be interested in doing some custom mixing maybe more so than the bigger ones.

There is a coop in Lebo that will custom mix feeds. Take a recipe in and she will mix it for you. I THINK it is a 500 pound minimum. Also a feed store in Emporia will custom mix. Same for minimum #'s.

I'm mixing my own very small amounts from a Greener Pastures recipe. If you'd want to talk to Beachner or SEK Grain, and if enough people wanted to go that way, I'd be in. Renee's recipe sounds very interesting, but I have no idea how to go about the whole "get it mixed" process.
