Liz - another in the Wichita area! There's someone here from Derby, and Rose Hill, and 2 or 3 of us in Wichita! It's nice to know there are "chicken people" nearby. I'm getting my chicks at the end of this month (just 3-4 to start with), and I expect to need lots of hand-holding as a first-time "chick momma." Again, welcome!

Yow- I'm in Lawrence, but hubby is from Ulysses, so I'm familiar with that SE area...very different climate/terrain/world!
