I'm sorry for your loss, it's hard to lose those special ones.I just went out to the coop and my beautiful splash orp rooster had died overnight.. He was the baby from one chooks chick had given me. He was so pretty.![]()
You will be missed, my pretty baby!
Good luck with the doe, I hope everything goes well. Thanks for the kind words, everyone!! I'm trying to figure out what to do so my other one doesn't stress out really bad from being alone with no other alpacas.
The ligaments are gone on my doe that I've been waiting on to kid so Hopefully we'll have hooves on the ground by this evening! I'm So Excited!!![]()

Congrats on the chicken coop! Thanks! Its not easy that's for sure. I am glad she's not suffering anymore. I'm also feeling kind of relieved to not be stressing about trying to save her and wondering what's wrong and all the doctoring. Chores were a breeze this evening!
We got my chicken coop sealed finally today too so that was awesome to get that out of the way.The Penofin turned out to be a lot oranger than I wanted but it was leftover from what we used to mix the color for the house so I'm not going to be picky.![]()
Boy I was hoping for a warmer day today, but it's cloudy here now & cooler, ugh. I had high hopes for taking some tarps off pens to give the hens more light & now I don't know whether to do it or not. I guess I'll see how the day goes. I threw the little lamb outside for awhile while my DH is out there doing chores, he is driving me absolutely nuts in the house. He's getting bigger & is starting to get into mischief in here. He really needs to go out with the other sheep, if only they would accept him.
