Nope I'm not digging it at all & my birds aren't either. It sure is flaring up my arthritis badly. I'm trying to get winterizing done & the weather isn't cooperating. I had two eye surgeries recently for glaucoma & it really put me behind getting things done. I've gotten some tarps up, but I just got a big roll of plastic yesterday to start putting up today & it's not great out there today either.
I just looked at the forecast for here & the low is supposed to be 32 with mixed rain & snow. Ugh, I hate this stuff & it's too early for this! I spent several hours outside yesterday putting up tarps & plastic & have to go back out in a bit & try to get the rest up. I wish I had a crystal ball so I could have known this was coming. It sure hasn't been fun out in that cold trying to get this all done. I got up hurting so bad this morning from what I did yesterday & I'm going to have to just grit my teeth & go back out there. I have to get the sides closed in to stop the wind. I leave the west & south sides open usually but I have to at least get the north side blocked off. I got my chick pen all cozy yesterday for the ones growing out. I hate having chicks in the fall, it just fell that way this year. I have moved a lot of them out to their permanent pens, but there are still some yet to get big enough.
