I just cut the legs off hubby's most ragged pair of jeans to staple over the top of the people door of the coop to stop snow from blowing in. Some might still come in but it won't blow over the feed bins and floor. As soon as I can I'll find something better but for now it's good. Also tossed in a couple flakes of straw for them to scratch and huddle in. I got 13 eggs from my 25 girls so I can't complain. I sure feel better since I stopped worrying about the girls so much. Even the bare butts are doing fine.
