How many vents do you have open? How far open are they? It doesn't take much ventilation at all in order to be enough.
Are you using a GQF incubator?
Are you sure your hygrometer is working?
Gosh, it doesn't take much at all to get the humidity in mine up. It does use quite a bit of water, though. I don't have the auto water system, so I add some to the pan every day.
My old incubator couldn't hold a steady temp, but boy could it hold the humidity. If the humidity would drop too low, I would add one teaspoon of water. That would bump it up to the level it needed to be.
