Constant, loud parties in the brooder

Well, I'm still here...for now.
They'll be in for a few more days due to the extremely cold weather we're having down here.
I now have a chicken/duck shanty town set up in my garage for any bird that I think has a bit of a delicate constitution-just to make sure I don't lose them due to this cold.

I'm officially surrounded by angry birds...

shhhhhhhhh I have been working under cover. I was able to slip into a secret recruiting meeting. They are going after just zipped chicks now as you can see from my spy camera photo

Will update with more horrible news later! Can't chat long or "they" get suspicious!

What's REALLY scary is the one on the right has CAMO feathers...they're trying to hide from us.

I just found out who the ring leader is on this side of the country, and the reason is because you can't tell if she's coming or going so it throws off all the humans

Oh NO! Don't tell me that! I had a frizzled cochin in the house for weeks, in an infirmary brooder at first until it got better. It was just so CUTE, and then I had another that needed extra care and they became BFFs. They're both outside now, but they spent WEEKS in the house, gathering intel!

Miss Lydia, besides you never know what she is hiding/holding under all those feathers. Do you have anyone brave enough to pat her down? Maybe take her to the airport and run her thru the full body scanners.
