Where exactly do you squeeze?

So you do a squeeze by fingers on the underside (abdomen) just kind of at an angle, or do you squeeze by putting a finger on their underside and a finger on their back?

Okay when I do it, I do it with thumb and finger on the left and right of the chick's vent, just a little below its hips, but as close to their backs as possible.

And you just pinch?

Yes, but not too hard. Do you have anything small enough to fit in the vent?

You mean like tweezers or like a Q tip (a Q-tip would be too big though)?

I was thinking something like a very small feeding tube/catheter. It would need to be really small and smooth.

Q tip is way too big and not the right material.
