Awwww I didn't get any pictures of my chickens or dog in fall, Now all the maple leaves have fallen off and the aspen and birches haven't turned yellow yet. I just have a bunch of mushroom and tree pictures.

GOSH !!! When I started my goals in the spring and...OK, I had to rethink this. I DON'T AND NEVER HAVE BUILT ANYTHING!!! So when I went out to see what I had to do....this is it! I ran into all sorts of "walls" !!
........ .. So began a long list building mistakes. ...My goals changed several times but finally the "for real" life (my own) experience (RMSF) smacked me down and reset my last goal..... I must say that so many of the things that I did do right were due to what I learned from BYC members !!
This is my answer to the old boards that are bowed and knots are falling out....perfect place for small predators to get thru.. I stapled these so I could take them down if I have to.. I took great care to surround the knot holes with staples... !!!! I am also leaving good ventilation at the top and the chickens seem to enjoy reading it!
I have to admit that I love the rustic look! It was born out of lack of $$and free recycled materials!! BUT..DON'T YOU LOVETHE FALL COLORS???? The pop door is the center of attention.....I'm sure they must think its a trap!! My survivor EE was the first out! The weather was already cooling off and FALL was in the air. LOL So much for having this done by spring!
Thanks for going down memory lane with me....feels like FALL HAS ARRIVED at my house
