Contest - Design the Logo for MerriQuail!

Just a rough draft idea for a design. I'm not quite sure if it counts as a laughing quail; I am better at drawing realistic animals.... Anyways, if anyone would like to try and digitize and colorize it to make it into an actual entry, they are welcome to do so. (I am not a great artist and do not do digital art). Feel free to make any changes to the design. I can get a scan or a better image if requested.

The logo is just a quick sketch. Its placement and font are not very good and should probably be adjusted or changed altogether. It would probably be better all on one line. I kind of like the quail egg and blades of grass for the letter Q though, and the seeds as dots for the i's.

I love that one too. I love the quail drawing, but the words with the quail egg Q would be a beautiful logo in itself.

I was thinking the same thing!! Beautiful artwork and I'm in love with that Q! I think you should use a quail egg Q regardless. It's fantastic!!
