When I first joined byc I asked the community and the popular guess was Plymouth Rock but I do not know for sure. I adopted him at 6 weeks and didn't get his breed. What breed is he? Do you know?

ADORABLE!!!!!!!!View attachment 1487836
- Name of chicken: Whitey (I know, how original)
- Breed or breeds: red sex link or leghorn cross? Unsure. The only thing we know him to be for certain is one cool Cockerel!
- Gender of chicken male, boy, oh boy, is he ever- ALL male. And knows it. there's no gender confusion there.
- Age 16 weeks
- Fun fact or something you love about your chicken he is the guardian. He runs to greet- by greet, I mean scare off-road anything it anyone who comes in the yard. He's got Napoleon complex. He did challenge me for dominance already once or twice. I won by a landslide so he decided he may as well like me. Now he comes by name for treats. You can call the others and he doesn't come. Yet when you yell, "Whitey!" He's the fastest thing on two legs until he slide stops and eats out of our hands like a gentleman. He's the best! I'm sure we'll have another go- around for dominance once he hits six months, but I'll win again. I suspect he knows that already.
Thanks! I'm gonna miss breeding Partridge Rocks, they just don't seem to be working for me. The shanks are always dark and they are always 3 LBs lighter than they should be.Amazing pencilling on that bird.
