Contest Ideas & Volunteers Needed!

New contest idea:

1. Rooster crowing contest for PEOPLE. Let's see who can sounds most like a real rooster crowing.
2. Hen cackle contest. Same as above except making hen noises such as egg song, bocking, etc.

I would love to be a judge, and I have writing experience... I have always loved writing... I once took classes from a local writer, who has now passed away, but as a college student, I am forced to keep up with grammar and such... I also like the article idea too...

I love the short story book idea.

Maybe also a self help book. Take some of the problems we discuss in gather in a book. Cuz sometimes i wish i could go back and find certain posts on here but have no luck.
The self help book could have an index and who provided the suggestions.

I think it would be awesome to have some ebooks for the site to sponsor... Maybe have it in a PDF file to allow people to print them off and bind them to create a book...

I actually really like the short story idea, good thinking

I've got tons of free time now that we're not as busy at work and get off fairly early. I'd love to help with anything so please don't be afraid to ask, I'm always willing to help out!

I really havent been here long enough to know what contests have been done... But what about a "paint an egg" contest. Would be something for kids and adults to do.. Then, everyone goes and tells all their friends to go and vote for their fav. egg.. would be good for outside people to learn about BYC too! IDK, just a thought..

How about a photo contest that's somewhat high school based?

There could be a class clown, cutest couple, smartest, prettiest eyes, best feathers, craziest, sweetest, meanest, etc.
Costumes could be encouraged LOL

I'm interested. I enter enough contests so I'm pretty good at how they work

how about a contest for the best coop/run. It would be graded on design, Quality, usefullness and Protection.

or maybe just a random voting one using the byc polls
