Controlling Gnats

I have tons of gnats, or little flying creatures zooming around my run and backyard. I have tried my best to keep the run clean with woodchips, but is there a better material?

Help me zap these little buggers!

I used the horse and pony fly spray ... I sprayed the inside of the walls and the outside ... it got ride of the gnats

I use oak leaves from the yard, send them through the mower and change the bedding 2 times weekly. If I don't change it often then I see a lot more flies.
