Actually I’ve brought several animals home from school over the years. I should probably stop randomly bringing animals home lol

We live in Australia. Hamsters are an illegal import. What about a hamster instead?
We do have 5 guinea pigs, they are rodents lol!He doesn't want rodents in his house.
Rats come in more colors? I've found it to be the opposite from all the mice and rats I've seen (in person, and in pictures!).Never had Mice.
Never had Rats.
But have to say I’d vote for rats instead. They come in more colors. They are bigger so easier to cuddle. They are a bit sturdier than a mouse.
A rat will be happy to sit on your shoulder. If they get loose their easier to find.
Are you sure you want mice?
Oh those are cuties for sure.Rats come in more colors? I've found it to be the opposite from all the mice and rats I've seen (in person, and in pictures!).

Mice are often created with such beautiful colors and patterns! (Not saying rats aren't, though).

That’s the equivalent of me trying to convince my Mum to get a mini pony or a brumbyI am an animal lover. Me and my 4 siblings have 5 guinea pigs, 8 chickens and 1 dog [who is really my parents]. 4 of the chickens and one of guinea pigs are mine. I would really like some pet mice. Would love them, really. I have wanted them for about a year now, so I am quite sure I want them. Dad, however, I think, doesn't really want pet mice. I am not a big fan of wild mice, I mean, they are cute, but a bit of a nuisance. I only want pet colours like patchy etc...Not natural brown. I have saved up and am very responsible. How do I convince my Dad to let me get pet mice?
