It's getting awful hot in Central Texas and the girls have been showering under the watering nipples lately. So I finally bought a new water cooler and decided to trade out one from our Boy Scout troop gear that had a broken spigot. The hole is 7/8" so a 3/4" NPT brass hose bib with a quarter turn handle threaded right in and I sealed it inside with aquarium grade silicone. Connected it up to the watering hose and filled it up with 10 pounds of ice! I plan to fill it once, maybe twice a week in the heat of the summer and will prevent freezing in the winter since it doesn't get below 32F for more than 24 hours usually..
