Set up a electric fence perimeter larger than the chicken's area. It's inexpensive and easy and once they hit it,

they will relocate themselves!

Using a sack and car exhuast works really well. If you are worried about being HUMANE. We used to have to kill birds that way before we could use them in field trails for dogs as it was determined to not be humane to use live birds whcih where rarely hurt. Takes about 15 min. If you got a big sack just slip it over the trap and tie it to a exhuast. I prefer shooting but sometimes you can make a bad shot and the second shot can be hard to make in the trap. If you are worried about that then the long dunk in the water works well you cant mess that one up short of not having enough water.

i caught a cat and gave it to animal control(which is one guy,(small community)), he told me trap and release was not legal, so i will not be doing that. He said that he will have them humanely euthanize tho.
