Coop and dust bath question

we (my husband) had almost finished the chicken coop, we are filling the bottom of their coop-run area with sand so that it's easy to clean and works as a big dust bath as well. I was wondering if it's better if we should section off an area for the dust bath with a board and keep less sand in the general run part, so that there's not as much poop in the dust bath part. Does it matter if it's all the same, will they even know which side is the dust bath and care at all?

They'll choose the part they want to dust bathe in. You don't need to worry about it.

They probably won't know which side is supposed to be the dust bath. I say the more sand the better, because good drainage is key to a nice run.
