3 of my hens pick on one of my new hens , it is not bloody and they eat and drink and roost , sometimes more often then my old birds but they will work it out cause one of them is a roo soon enough he will keep those hens inlineI was looking at the chain link kennel panels from Menards, reinforced with hardware cloth, and covered, to make my runs. Otherwise, CL is always an option.
If you free range everyday that will certainly help. You are just going to have to keep an eye on how they do. (i.e. Is there any feather plucking? Are those lower in the pecking order not able to roost? etc.)
