Coop Build Deja Vu

Predator Apron is done , ramp from pop door to run is done , PDZ is on the poop boards , pine shavings are on the coop floor . A few minor odds and ends for the daughter and son in law to take care of but I'm done . Chicks are going in coop in the morn and will be kept inside for 3 or 4 days . Their heat plate will be in there with them just in case . I think I started around April 25th so didn't do too bad time wise considering most work was solo . Anywho here are today's pics , will follow up with more after the chicks are in .

The chicks have been in the coop since Saturday , I put the woodchips/mulch in the run today and opened the pop door so they got their first look at their new world . They looked out the door and ran back to the back corner of the coop :lau . After a while I picked up one of the friendly Orpingtons and brought her outside into the run , it just stood there not moving probably wondering what out here is gonna get me . I put her back in with her buds after a few minutes , they'll figure it out soon enough . They will be 4 weeks old Saturday .

My son in law got the Wyze Cams set up , one in the coop , one in the run .

Chickies are 4 weeks old today , no more heat plate (unplugged Thursday) . They have been in and out of the coop on their own but at night they need to be hearded up the ramp , they have not figured out to go inside on their own when it gets dark . A few more days and they'll figure it out . Gotta get em started on the horizontal nipple waterer also .
