Awww.....half way through the pics I saw the rafters going on and I thought Yeah! I want a big overhang like that to prevent rain coming into the coop (we get some pretty heavy duty summer thunderstorms here in Florida) ...........then you cut them off!

I dont know much about building so need to ask was there a reason for that? or something not good about having a large overhanging roof?
My coop is still on the drawing board ...trying to learn as much as I can.
