Coop Cam!

Now I need some cameras for my two coops and then will have them for the chicken yard. Will be checking them out for sure. We have plenty of predators.

As far as roosting our chickens run from 1 month to almost 10 weeks old. . The month old are still in the brooder but the rest are in a coop. Like someone suggested, my husband had to start putting them on the roost to get them started. The older chickens now roost not the time the younger ones sometimes do and sometimes not. They will eventually get the hang of it.

We have 2 in our bigger coop and 1 in the other. We also have cameras that watch over the entire enclosure so we can see just about everything. At night we can see if the chickens have started roosting and then close the coop doors by remote control. We have no problems with any animals bothering the girls and if we did we could easily identify them. We use Ring cameras and the ones that are fully powered are also fully remote controlled. Since they work on the internet, if I go traveling I can see what is going on at any time.
I need a remote controlled door 😅

I need to get another one! I go out and move it from the run to the coop each night haha. I have to go close the coop door anyways so its not too bad lol

Yes so fun to watch! All the new babies in mine like to share one roost it seems!
