Coop Cam!

I have cameras that my husband has yet to install (nag, nag 😑) but as there is no electricity to the coop, I'm wondering how I will be able to see at night without a light. Anyone know?
My coop doesn’t have electricity either but the camera I use has “night vision!” I can actually see them fairly well in the dark!

Does anyone else have a coop cam?
I just love watching my girls even if I can’t be out there with them 🐓❤️

Geeni Glimpse 1080p HD Smart Camera Indoor Home Security Camera No Hub Required Motion Detection Camera Smart Camera Works with Amazon Alexa and Google Home, Requires 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi

Is this the one?
Does it work if the Internet is down?
Can you get Google Home on a Laptop or Desktop or tablet? Or is it just for cell phones?

I'm looking for a camera to put in my coop(s) that I can access via my WiFi without paying for some Internet service. A twenty dollar camera would be perfect. Might even go to fifty if there was no need for a cell phone or internet or fees.

The one linked to above " WiFi Home Camera Outside, AI Motion Detection, Compatible with Alexa" to above sounded great 'till I got to the Alexa part - isn't that a service one has to pay for/subscribe to.

Really don't want a camera connected to the Internet or some subscription service that might have access to whatever I train my cameras on etc.

Please post DETAILS on the camera/system you are using and happy :) with. Does it only record still images? Can it transmit live video? Do you need a subscription? What does it cost? Can you watch the birds on your computer, your tablet - or only on your cell phone? Must you be logged on to the Internet to watch the live feed? What did it cost? How far is your Coop Camera from Your WiFi Router? Can you provide a link to the camera on Amazon (or wherever you got it?
