Coop Camera?

Hi! We had a coop camera from a friend but it recently died. Does anyone have any suggestions on cameras?

Wyze. Go with the new v3 or the v2. They’re the best for recording and camera quality. I’ve used two different types of cameras before Wyze and they’re by far my favorite. The other one I used broke in under five months and the customer service was terrible. With Wyze I was able to return a camera, the new outdoor one wasn’t what I thought, with no problems. The person emailed me within the day of me asking to return it too.

I wish I could get more enjoyment out of that. But after purchasing it I realized it’s nothing more than a glorified trail cam. To get any of the recordings out of it you have to remove the SD card. There’s also no playback feature and it doesn’t record automatically. You have to set specific times for it to start recording. I was very disappointed. The v3 is just like the outdoor but with all the features of the v2. At least as far as I can tell

It worked pretty good, though my chickens kept pecking it.

I haven't mounted it yet though, as I only got it a week ago and have been pretty busy.

I couldn’t get it to work for me. The recording option never actually recorded and there’s no playback. I love the playback on the v2 and v3. The fact that I needed a separate router for the outdoor camera threw me too. I kept one, I had three, but still haven’t figured it out.
