Lucky girls. Their new home looks lovely and so large. I know our coop will be nice and the girls will love it, but our problem is space. We are in FL in a 1950's beach vacation community. so the lots are tiny. I would love to have lots of room for the girls to run, but there is only so much space to be had. We are making the largest that we can and the good side is that it will keep me from getting more girls!

I hope our coop is as nice looking as yours when done. Thanks for sharing.

AlphaChick,

The sad thing is, they have ALL this room... do you know where they hang out during the day???

Beating the Heat in Georgia! - This is the coolest part of the coop. I've hung curtains and a huge shade to cover the sun in the coop, but they still like this dark little area! For some reason, there's always a little breeze back there. It's nice! - So I wouldn't worry about to much room!

They do love dirt baths under the apple tree though

That's very funny but I guess typically chicken! I am new to chickens and was so shocked when on a roosting bar about7 feet long, all 5 of them pile up together in about 18" of space to sleep. They're happy.......I'm happy! Very nice coop and play area.

The image is updated, but the only way to change the name is if you create a new page and select, copy, paste everything into a new page with the new title. If you do this, let me know via PM so I can change it in the system.

Okay, we've got a lot of great submissions so we're setting an end date for this contest: Get your coop page created by 9/12/2010 and it will be added to this contest. Otherwise you can shoot for the next contest!
