Some great Ideas for decorating the coops, and outside of them! I keep wondering what my wife and I will do with our chicken pen after a few years go by lol.

We stenciled a hen onto our chicken door, but we want to put more on.
We also trimmed the doors like barn doors.

I've been inspired to decorate the exterior of my chicken house. I started painting the window trim and front door bright turquoise. I am looking for some flea market shutters for the window and plan to make a flower box under the window. I can see the chicken house from my kitchen window so I will be able to enjoy it even while working.
The interior really needs a cleaning and maybe a coat of good old fashioned white wash.
I remembered to take a before photo tonight.

The outside of my coop still needs some décor but here was my cheap and fun idea for inside paint, all you need is a cheap kitchen sponge cut into a chicken foot, dip in paint and go crazy!!!
