@Faraday40 keeps a silkied serama indoors for the night and put's him in a dark box in the morning for an hour to stop his crowing until the suns up and then he's out in her coop which has a heat pad I believe. Small world! I have got chicks and eggs from Faraday40. I have not added Seramas to my flock though. I've decided to stick with large hardy breeds that I don't have to worry so much about in winter time.I don’t care about the crowing. Inside or out. I was just happy to hear him crow again after his near-death experience.
And he is actually the father or grandfather of the boy that @Faraday40 keeps inside!!
