Brett,Ok, I am just going to post some pics of what I have to work with. I am converting a dog kennel. So the coop will be raised. The coop floor itself will not be concrete. Thinking of a wire mesh floor or wood covered with linoleum and litter. Outside the coop, in the caged run area is more where I am looking for advice. We have pea gravel down now to help with drainage, and it slopes slightly as well. I am thinking, for the run area, of covering the pea gravel with some sand and then some top soil or dirt so they can do dust baths, get bugs etc when not running around the full yard... Thoughts? Advice? THANK YOU!
