I love the way @aart did the roosting poles, my husband it redoing ours like this because it makes so much more sense for us. It adds usable space underneath which is always helpful! We only have one wall where this will work though, so we're going to make it wide enough for one shorter roost in the front and a taller one in the back and add two legs for support underneath.
