Coop is getting expensive

latebloomer.....I used to have airedales. Love them. Good luck with your coop. Looks like you are off to a good start.

Nice looking coop. They can be expensive ,I 've been working on ours and its a 5'x8' with 6ft ceiling ,so far about $300 invested and still no run and not all the way completed . I to wish there was a cheaper way around but its all for good deeds.

i must be pretty close to five hundred at this point
i'm not counting the new battery that i needed for the drill
but they're going in tonight and if they're as happy as yours are, ratnfish, it's worth the expense

We put no climb horse fence around our 10 acres in 2003 after one of our horses almost cut her foot off on the barbed wire. It has not deteriorated at all. I am in Texas too.

I just purchased some yesterday at lowe's. They were 1/2"x48"x50' at $48+change. I had to get three myself, this chicken fun can get expensive!

Sounds like we are no the only ones throwing money at it. Electricity is in now and fence posts up.
